Shift: 1st Shift

Work model: Hybrid

Schedule: Full-time; Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Schneider is seeking an IT Software Engineering Manager to join our thriving team! You will provide leading-edge, innovative, technology solutions to enable growth and margin by simplifying business processes. In addition, you will be driving efficiency through digital platforms and solutions, while ensuring the security of our information and software assets. You will lead a team of developers, analysts, and testers located globally by providing them technical guidance, leadership, and motivation to help them maximize their productivity.

About the role:
  • Manage multiple, medium-to-large projects, coordinate product development activities, and ensure timely delivery of projects within committed budget
  • Communicate project status to customers, business sponsors and Tech leadership through status reports, weekly meetings, and any other pre-approved communication tools
  • Support Product Stewardship and ensure projects are staffed effectively and follow appropriate product development lifecycles using Agile methodologies
  • Maintain consistent attendance while exhibiting behavior in alignment with our core values

Ideal candidates will have:
  • Bachelor degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field; Master's degree in computer science, computer engineering or related field (preferred)
  • Eight or more years of technical experience with increasing responsibility (ex: software engineer, SME, architect and technical lead for large, multi-technology deployments)
  • Prior management or technical lead experience leading a team of software engineers and contract staff both onsite and offshore
  • Experience using and managing software assets in modern cloud technologies like Azure, AWS or Google Cloud (Azure preferred)
