Description

Following routine procedures or with general supervision from the Manager of Technical Support, responsible for all engineering and aircraft technical services including technical publications and weight and balance control.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Promotes and fosters a safe and secure operating environment.
  • Performs engineering support and liaison functions with equipment manufacturers.
  • Assists in technical acceptance of aircraft being added to fleet.
  • Performs technical liaison function in administration of aircraft maintenance programs.
  • Prepares and controls Engineering Orders.
  • Administers and controls all technical publications, including the publishing of all Maintenance Department manuals, documents and specifications.
  • Administers aircraft weight and balance control program.
  • Prepares various monthly maintenance reports, charts, and graphs.
  • Adherence to company policies and procedures.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Associate's degree in an Aviation Maintenance or Engineering discipline, or equivalent practical career experience
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant license (preferred)
  • Three to five years aircraft maintenance or engineering experience
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • CRJ 200/700/900 experience (preferred)
