Your seat at the table: Quality Assurance Manager
You will love this seat if you get, want, and have the capacity to:
- LMA (Lead, Manage, Accountability)
- Maintain knowledge of current developments in area of expertise
- Lead a team in the development of Corrective Action & Preventative Action (CAPA) plans based on customer feedback
- Lead and coordinate communication between Regal Ware Divisions, Product Development, and Manufacturing to address customer quality related concerns
- Development, Alignment, and Execution of The Quality Management System (QMS)
- Monitor organizational procedures to ensure proper functioning
- Perform inspections and audits of quality plans
- Conduct product testing for Quality Assurance, Design Engineering and Research & Development
- Quality Standards Are Defined, Trained, and followed by all.
- Cost Reduction Road Map Developed with Metrics to track progress.
- Perform analysis and metrics for process quality, product quality, and customer & warranty returns
- Advise customers on technical or procedural issues and recommend any process or policy changes
We need this seat to have:
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent 4-year degree.
- 7-10 years of experience in a Quality Assurance role.
- 3+ years of experience managing a team.
- Ability to run meetings and present data to all leadership levels.
- Ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
- Ability to evaluate information to determine compliance with division standards.
- Logic and reasoning to identify alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to quality issues.
- Ability to motivate, develop, and direct team, including identifying the best people for the job.
- Experience working with a departmental budget
- Six Sigma Black Belt highly preferred
