Job Summary:

As a Receiver and Material Handler, you are expected to drive a forklift and maintain necessary certification, and route or deliver materials to correct storage or manufacturing locations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • No minimum education required

  • 2+ years shipping/receiving experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment

  • Proficiency in loading all trailers, flat beds, and vans

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of all Systems' products

  • Basic proficiency in use of scanners and label printers

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Drive forklift and maintain necessary certification

  • Route or deliver materials to correct storage or manufacturing locations

  • Perform shipping/receiving function with regards to material handling; utilize loading dock equipment to ensure a safe loading and unloading process is completed

  • Check goods received to purchase orders or receiving slips, maintain records, and prepare receiving reports

  • Check quantity, type, size, part numbers, dimensions, etc. to properly identify materials

  • Responsible for labeling, storing, and inventorying items

  • Process warranty items such as entering Returned Goods Authorizations into

  • database

  • Work with Purchasing and Inventory Control to facilitate accurate inventory levels and

  • necessary adjustments

  • Operate cranes and hoists

  • Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules
