Manufacturing Manager - Fabrication

Our Manufacturing Managers drive positive culture through excellent team member relations. They provide coaching and development to supervisors and team members across our 24/7 Fabrication department. As well as make employment decisions and resolve team member issues through problem resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Balance safety, quality, productivity, cost, and Team Member engagement to achieve positive results in all areas.
  • Work to continuously improve in all areas.
  • Manage departmental performance measures. Determine root cause for metrics that aren't meeting goal and work collaboratively throughout the operation to develop and implement corrective action plans.
  • Provide leadership through recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and retention of team members.
  • Responsible for transactional integrity.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position manages supervisors across 4 shifts and provides overall leadership for all employees in the department.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position and is salaried exempt so your hours and work days will vary depending on workloads. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand

Travel

No travel is expected for this position.

Required Education and Experience

  1. Associate's degree.
  2. 3-5 years of leadership experience in a production environment

Preferred Education and Experience

  1. Bachelor's degree.
  2. 5-8 years of leadership experience in a production environment.
  3. Previous quality management experience
  4. Manufacturing/industry experience.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance

Must be able to pass EVerify.
