The individual in this position will have experience gathering and documenting product requirements, working in a variety of systems environments and have at least a general understanding of the technology considerations. They will be comfortable leading workshops, working meetings and presentations, communicate in an empathetic, positive and friendly manner with a focus on clarifying business needs and customer service. In addition, they will be comfortable working with contractors, vendors and multiple processes and methodologies to manage requirements for all stakeholders.

* Degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field or a combination of education/training and work experience equivalent to an advanced degree.
* 5 - 10 years experience as a Business Analyst in software or interactive web development initiatives

o Object-oriented development approaches
o Working knowledge of third-party solution providers
o Defining and documenting design to requirements trade-offs
* Broad knowledge of programs, projects and knowledge management processes and toolsets
* Knowledge of user-centered content development, interface design, information architecture, digital branding and marketing communications
* Demonstrated experience in communications management, including:
o Ability to communicate with a variety of audiences (internal and external teams)
o Consensus building, team building and problem solving
o Written and oral communications, including presentations to senior level executives
o Ability to work with cross-functional teams (creative and technical) throughout implementation to ensure integrity to requirements
o Organizing and facilitating meetings with business users for requirements gathering
* Preferred: IIBA certification
* Preferred: Microsoft DevOps/Github/JIRA experience.

* Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) would be preferred.

• Strong understanding of Komatsu's key applications across our Mining, Construction, Forestry and Forklift product lines
• Expert level understanding of key applications and related product roadmaps to support alignment with stakeholders on current and future direction and to drive adoption with external business partners and customers.
• Expert level understanding of key functionality to drive reuse of core components and minimize proliferation of similar / one off applications, portals and websites across a common user base
