Salary and Benefits
This position is in Salary Grade CS4, with a minimum starting wage of $24.65 per hour. The successful candidate's wage will be calculated based on education and experience within the grade range. This position is eligible for Northeast Community College's excellent full-time fringe benefits package. This is a five-year grant-funded position contingent on future funding.

General Description
The purpose of this position is to provide intensive support to students enrolled in the Walter Scott, Jr. Career Pathway Scholarship Program so they can earn a college credential that will allow them to find entry-level employment in high-skill, high-wage, and high-demand careers. This is accomplished by providing academic and career advising, individual coaching, and delivering high-impact practices and activities to an assigned cohort of Scott Pathway Scholars. This position also provides administrative support to the Director in the areas of event planning, data collection, tracking student progress, reporting, and developing a Scott Pathway Scholars alumni network. The Scott Pathway Coordinator will work closely with Scott Pathway Scholars in the following pathways: Agriculture, Health Information Systems, Information Technology, Veterinary Technology (including pre-Veterinary Technology), and Pre-Engineering. This position is grant funded for 5 years. This position requires a physical presence on the Norfolk campus. The normal work schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 8-5, with occasional evening or weekend hours. Some travel may be necessary.
Qualifications: Education
Bachelor's Degree in a related field (e.g., higher education, counseling, or psychology) required.
Qualification:Experience
One year of experience in student support or other relevant academic experience required.
Qualification:Skills
This position requires excellent organizational and management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent customer service skills are essential. Fluency in Spanish a plus. Knowledge of, and involvement in, the communities within the 20-county service area is highly preferred.
