Position Title:Fabrication Technician

Wage:$18.00/hour

Shift:1st

Hours:6:00am - 2:00pm

We are seeking dedicated operators for a metal stamping company local to Sheboygan and Sheboygan Falls! This company has a remarkable 41-year history and boasts numerous certifications and accolades. As an operator with this company, you will be responsible for crafting metal components used in engines and different appliances with a diverse range of metals.

Fabrication Technician Responsibilities:
- Set up and operating brake presses; calibrating machinery for the correct dimensions
- Set up and operating laser and or/turret and auto loading material handling system
- Troubleshoot programs, flat blanks and edit programs
- Assist with operating robotic welding equipment and manual or semi-manual welding
- Understand turret tooling specifications, characteristics and tool selection process
- Check part quality
- Analyze drawings, design data, and setup sheets to determine setup process
- Understand process and initiating process improvement
- Perform material handling as needed
- Package, stack, and organize product produced in accordance to orders
- Locate and verify material required for production
- Monitor equipment performance throughout cycle
- Assist with punch press operation when needed

Requirements for Fabrication Technician:
- At least one year of previous press brake machine operation experience
- At least one year experience in operating and programming a laser cutter
- Hand tool and measuring tool experience
- Experience in reading blueprints/schematics
- Able to lift up to 50lbs
- Basic math skills
- Able to stand for duration of shift
