Working in the Motion, Drive Products in New Berlin, Wisconsin, you will be leading the execution of small projects, ensuring that they are executed in line with procedures, specifications, standards requirements and targets. In this role, you will be responsible for providing leadership for the fulfillment of Authorized Manufacturing Centers (AMC) orders from customer order to product delivery. Responsible for end to end planning of New Berlin supplied inventory from purchase requisition to customer invoice, to meet AMC revenue and On Time Delivery targets. Also, you will support internal sales and customer service inquiries.

Your responsibilities

  • Project Manager: Manage Sales orders, purchase orders and production orders for all orders through ABB's Authorized Manufacturing Centers (AMC) ensuring date alignment and ultimate fulfillment
  • Complete standard detailed analysis for planning and fulfillment metrics (inventory turnover, on time delivery, lead time, forecast accuracy, resource utilization)
  • Identify key root causes for non performance and drive improvement initiatives across the local business unit
  • Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP): Lead and Manage S&OP Process for AMC business - Implement S&OP process for AMC business, long term forecasting, material planning for New Berlin supplied components to AMC and coordinate information flow
  • Reporting: Compile and send weekly/monthly report out specific to AMC Business to business leaders on planning and fulfillment objectives lead time, on time delivery, material availability
  • Collaboration: Participate in various daily cross functional reviews in planning and fulfillment, interaction between planning, production and SCM (Supply Chain Management). Production floor review of output, plans, quality and materials. As well as Daily production planning review
  • Customer On Time Delivery (COTD): Root cause analysis and corrective action for on time delivery lates, from New Berlin production to AMC and AMC to end customer and drive to Operations COTD targets
  • Process Improvement: Process Improvement for AMC planning related processes, develop subcontract EDI process for suppliers to automate shipping and invoicing. Automate other various transactional processes
  • Inventory performance: Monitor inventory levels at AMCs to ensure ITO (Inventory Turnover) is in line with operations targets. Takes appropriate action for optimizing inventory performance, in collaboration with demand planner, sales, marketing, manufacturing and procurement and logistics
Your background

  • Bachelor degree and 8 years of experience in order management, project management or demand planning with sales and operations planning or supply chain background required
  • Travel up to 5% required
  • Knowledge of larger project business execution and mechanical / electrical category knowledge is an asset
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite, SAP knowledge is an asset
  • Continuous Improvement focus, be demanding and do not accept average results, Lean Six Sigma knowledge preferred
  • Able to decide when, what and how to solve the problem and then take the responsibility with prompt delivery and ability to influence other and be results orientated
  • Good negotiation skills in a multicultural global business environment and strong understanding of supply market, logistics and business to business model
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
