Work Schedule:

Part time position. 1-2 days per week at UW Health East Madison Hospital with the occasional day shift at UW Health 1 S. Park Street clinic location. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

Pay:

  • Pay for this position is $20.00 hourly.

We are seeking a Student Ultrasonographer to:

  • Perform a wide variety of routine and complex ultrasound procedures and continue to learn and grow in the field of ultrasound. Procedures may include pelvic, abdominal, small parts and routine vascular examinations as well as more complex imaging such as deep Doppler and guided interventional procedures such as biopsies, ablations and musculoskeletal ultrasound.
  • With guidance, perform clinical examination on adults, geriatric patients, adolescents, and pediatric age groups.
  • Perform exams in a variety of locations, including a Level 1 Trauma Center and/or critical care facility.

Education:

Minimum - Current Student in an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.

Preferred - Bachelor's degree in relevant field

Work Experience:

Minimum - One year as a student in an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum - Basic Life Support/CPR certification
