Job Summary

The Sr Allocation Analyst is responsible for developing and maintaining dynamic dealer facing allocation reporting. This role will lead the allocation team in interactive reporting development that can be used by dealers to support planning their motorcycle sales business. The Sr Allocation Analyst will also support the Recommended Order methodology and refinement of the indicators used to allocate vehicles to US dealers.

Job Responsibilities
  • Create Dealer Facing reporting in Microsoft PowerBI
  • Understand and apply dealer access security protocols
  • Collaborate with internal technical stakeholders to optimize source data leveraged in reporting
  • Create new ways of visualizing sales trends that can be acted upon in sales, ordering, and forecasting cycles
  • Support the Rev Max initiative and Order Management Modernization in creating a Harley-Davidson allocation systems that maintains desirability and enables a premium customer experience
  • Support development and refinement of dealer mix planning and Recommended Orders methodology
  • Provide retail data and market insight for Motorcycle retail sales information
  • Incorporate customer demand indicators (reservations, sold bike requests, leads, etc.) in dealer forecasts
  • Incorporate dealer level demand indicators (dealer-trades, recommended order acceptance, lost sales) in summary reporting to internal stakeholder teams
  • Support the short, medium and long term forecasting activities of the market, considering supply/demand forces, retail inventory, optimal mix and longer term product plans to achieve growth and profitability.
  • Support the development of motorcycle product programs and plans for wholesale & retail related activities

Experience Requirements

Required

  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience
  • Highly effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and obtain results with limited direct supervision
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft applications
  • Experience with Microsoft PowerBI visualization development
  • Strong interpersonal skills that facilitate effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong sense of responsibility and accountability

Preferred

  • Motorcycle/automotive experience considered a strong asset
  • Data analytics, forecasting, or operating in a retail environment experience
  • Experience with data cleansing systems and techniques - Alteryx or SQL proficiency preferred
  • Dashboard publishing to wide audiences

The pay range shown represents the national average pay range for this role. Your pay may be more or less than the stated range and is dependent on your geographic location and level of experience.
