Join our team as a Fetal Concerns RN Care Coordinator (FCCC) where you'll play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional care to expectant mothers facing fetal concerns. As an FCCC, you'll collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transitions of care, provide compassionate support to patients and families, and uphold the highest professional standards. We're seeking individuals with strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities, coupled with a keen understanding of patient and family dynamics. Your role will involve navigating evolving priorities with efficiency and dedication, while continuously seeking opportunities for personal and professional growth, particularly in delivery planning.

As a Fetal Concerns Care Coordinator, you'll be at the forefront of supporting families referred to our Maternal Fetal Medicine and Fetal Surgery Programs. You'll work closely with physicians to guide patients through their journey, from understanding their baby's condition to coordinating comprehensive care plans. This nursing role demands proactive engagement, serving as the primary point of contact for patients and liaising with a diverse team of specialists. Your responsibilities will span from prenatal consultations to postnatal care coordination, ensuring seamless transitions and comprehensive support for families. By collaborating with social work and other team members, you'll address the holistic needs of patients while serving as a valuable resource for information and support.

Required Qualifications:
  • BSN from an accredited School of Nursing
  • 2 years of hospital experience in Obstetrics
  • 1-2 years of High-Risk Obstetrics
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Wisconsin
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Flexible in responding to the changing needs of the organization; demonstrates critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Positive skills in communication and experience which indicate successful ability to assume responsibility within a team context.
  • Must be willing to be a productive team member and interested in contributing to the continuous improvement of quality patient care.
  • High Risk Obstetrical knowledge
  • Proficient in presentation skills, including public speaking.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's in nursing
  • 1-2 years of experience in NICU
