The Department of Orthopedics & Rehabilitation is recruiting an orthopedic surgeon to join our Hand & Upper Extremity Division, with an interest in providing care for both adult and pediatric hand & upper extremity care. The department consists of over 50 faculty physicians and 50 advanced practice providers. Our orthopedic program has been consistently ranked #1 in Wisconsin and in the top 50 hospital programs in the United States by U.S. News & World Report. The Division of Hand & Upper Extremity consists of four faculty and five advanced practice providers and is a high-volume elective surgical practice as well as the health system's four hospital emergency departments (including a level I trauma center).
Responsibilities:Primary duties include providing clinical care with a focus on both adult and pediatric Hand & Upper Extremity Surgery at our various clinical care sites. Teaching of medical students, residents and fellows will be expected. Additionally, participation in call on a rotating basis will be expected.
For those appointed to the CHS title track, academic responsibilities will include teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. Academic duties and responsibilities beyond baseline faculty expectations will depend on individual interests and expertise.
