General Summary:
The role of the Universal Banker is to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of both the Teller and Relationship Banker role with the exception of offering loan products to clients. This position will establish new client account relationships as needed while also processing account transactions at the Teller station and completing basic account maintenance requests. The Universal Banker will also be trained to handle any and all branch servicing tasks such as vault balancing, cash shipment preparation, safe deposit box access etc.


Location: 4050 University Ave, Madison, WI 53705

Hours: opening shift 7:45AM-4:15PM or closing shift 9:45AM to 6:15PM


Outcomes:
1) Balance Growth and Production Achievement (30%)
a. Loan Origination, New Checking Accounts, Business Deposit Accounts, Credit Cards, and Convenience Services

2) Client Service/Relationship Metrics (30%)
a. Services per Household, Referrals, Client Service, etc.

3) Cash Drawer Balancing (20%)
a. Balance cash drawer in accordance with bank policy and procedure.

4) Compliance and Operations Evaluation (20%)
a. Ensure compliance with all bank policies and procedures to include regulations, CIP, audit and security.


Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
- Perform daily office responsibilities and tasks such as account transactions, account maintenance, and customer correspondence.
- As needed, the Universal Banker will be responsible for processing new account requests and assisting the Branch Manager and/or Relationship Banker in cross-sell efforts to existing clients.
- While processing routine client transactions, the Universal Banker will identify current and future financial needs, and effectively refer and/or fulfill these sales to branch and strategic partners.
- Perform additional responsibilities to include client service requests such as processing stop payments, wire transfers, placing check orders, processing special instructions on accounts and processing account maintenance requests.
- Actively work with clients to identify current and future financial needs, and effectively offer solutions either directly or indirectly through business partner referrals.


Requirements

Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; Associate degree or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 1-3 years of related work experience required
