Job Description:

Exciting Opportunity: Dive into Adventure as a Lifeguard at Ariens Nordic Center in Brillion, WI!

Are you ready to make a splash this summer? Ariens Nordic Center is on the lookout for enthusiastic Lifeguards to join our team. As a Lifeguard at the Ariens Nordic Center Pond, you'll be the guardian of fun, ensuring swimmers stay safe and secure within our picturesque waters. From keeping a watchful eye on swimmers to swiftly responding to any aquatic incidents, you'll be at the heart of the action.

The Day To Day...

  • Open and close the pond daily in line with our schedule
  • Vigilantly monitor pond activities, identifying and addressing any safety concerns
  • Enforce pond rules and regulations to maintain a secure environment
  • Guide swimmers out of the water during hazardous conditions
  • Respond promptly to injuries, incidents, and emergencies, following Ariens Nordic Center protocols
  • Stay alert to weather updates to ensure guest safety
  • Coordinate and supervise groups enjoying the pond area
  • Maintain the cleanliness and appeal of our pond and beach environment

The Qualifications...

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Possession of current Lifeguard Certification from accredited sources
  • Current CPR and First Aid Certifications
  • Prior lifeguarding experience of one year or more preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently and engage in physical tasks throughout the day
  • Comfortable spending extended periods in water
  • Friendly demeanor with a professional appearance
  • Attentive, detail-oriented, and observant
