Job Description
Company: A.C Tool & Machinery Company
Location: Germantown, WI
Salary Range: $24-$34 per hour (based on experience and knowledge)
Shifts: 1st and 2nd shifts are available
  • 1st shift: Monday- Friday (optional Saturdays) Beginning 6am-8am (8hr-10hr days)
  • 2nd shift: Monday – Thursday (optional Fridays and Saturdays) Beginning 1:30pm ending 11:30pm

Job Details
You will be performing setups as well as part producing. You can see the gratification from taking unprocessed material and transforming them into something polished and precise. You will also be expected to maintain your machine, as well as your work area. Our machinists make their own programs if it’s a new run, as well as making all their own setups for jobs.
 
  • Equipment you can expect to be operating.
    • Milling Centers
      • 5x Mori vertical mills 40 & 50 taper
      • Mazak 530c vertical mill 40 taper/ 3x Mazak Vari-Axis 40 taper
    • Turning Centers
      • 2x Samsung lathes 10” & 12” chucks
      • 2x Doosan bar feeders
      • Mori-Seiki NL3000 18.5” Dia. X 85” length
    • Toolroom
      • 3x Prototrak vertical CNC machines
      • 2x Bridgeport knee mills
      • 1x Mitsubishi EDM

Requirements/Skills:
  • 5 years minimum experience
    • Identifying engineer drawings/print
    • Able to use a vast range of inspection equipment
      • Micrometers
      • Indicators
      • Calipers
      • 2 & 3 contact bore gauges
      • Etc.
    • Understanding Metric and Imperial measurements, simultaneously being able to perform conversions from one to the other
    • Understanding of G and M code and programming efficiently and effectively.
    • First piece inspections- must be accurate and efficient
  • Understanding the correct function of a tool and being able to set it up properly
  • GibbsCam/Fusion 360 – preferred
  • U.S. Work Authorization
