The Wis-Pak Brands consist of on-trend, better for you, beverages like BUBBL'R Antioxidant Sparkling Water, Klarbrunn Sparkling, and Vita Ice! We are looking for an Account Manager in the Illinois market that must be focused on growing the Wis-Pak Brands at retail through the effective selling and development of our beverage brands at the store level.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Increase the sales of the Wis-Pak Brands within their designated Territory
  • Build and maintain long-term trusting relationships with store associates, store managers, category managers, and distributors
  • Ensures product look and display is consistent with brand strategy, plan-o-gram compliance, overall appearance and above presentation standards of competitive products
  • Ensures product is properly priced and POP is compliant
  • Provides routine market intelligence on current market conditions and/or opportunities that may affect sales or category share of product. Collects and reports information on competitive product and service offerings to management
  • Routinely participates in distributor meeting
  • Communicates via assigned methods (verbal, written, formal presentation) to management all assigned reports on position activities by assigned due dates
  • Assists in the analysis of sales and market/territory data used to provide consultation and/or correction for under-performing markets
  • Assists in identifying growth opportunities for Wis-Pak Brand sales and marketing initiatives
  • Proactively learns to effectively understand and appropriately communicate competitive products, market trends, and pertinent technologies
  • Educated on unique market channels. Effectively positions presence in each market and chain/store to drive in-store sales
  • Assists with the selling-in of trade solutions, sampling activations, and shelf placement
  • Exhibits exceptional skills in customer service, time management, self-confidence, flexibility, analysis, accountability, practicality, presentation, and communication in assigned market

In summary, the Account Manager is responsible for developing business opportunities at the store level with assigned customers by executing the overall sales strategy. The focus of this execution should be on assuring the long-term success of the Shareholders by developing a wholly-owned, nationally recognized and distributed beverage brands which enhance existing product portfolios.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 2 years prior sales experience, preferably in the beverage industry.
  • Persuasive and diplomatic communication skills
  • Strong organizational and presentation skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively design sales/marketing programs.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities with minimal supervision and direction.
  • A valid driver's license in good standing.
  • Professional appearance and attitude.
  • Infrequent repetitive lifting of 50 pounds from floor to waist, chest, and shoulder height.
  • Willingness to be on call rotation for week-end work
