Job Summary:

The Division of Enrollment Management (DEM) is seeking an Event & Stakeholder Engagement Specialist. This new role will support event planning, logistics and execution across the Division with the goal of advancing recruitment, yield, and stewardship priorities. The Event & Stakeholder Engagement Specialist will lead efforts to evaluate the needs and expectations of various stakeholder groups to ensure a high standard is set for all Divisionally sponsored events. The role will work collaboratively with teams across the Office of Admissions & Recruitment, Office of Student Financial Aid, as well as the Office of the Registrar to support event logistics while serving as lead for all event needs within the Office of the Vice Provost for Enrollment Management. Utilizing a stakeholder engagement lens, this role will be critical to help the Division leverage sponsored events as an important mechanism to establish and maintain meaningful relationships with key stakeholders including students & families, community-based organizations, as well as campus partners. The Event & Stakeholder Engagement Specialist will report to the Strategic Initiatives Coordinator within the Office of the Vice Provost for Enrollment Management.

Responsibilities: Responsible for a variety of professional level work across a variety of administrative service areas including budget, finance, procurement, and human resources with impact across the institution in support of unit or institutional goals.
  • 25% Implements and executes established policies and procedures for a designated work unit to adhere to unit objectives and to align with established strategies
  • 25% Schedules logistics and secures resources for a designated work unit to contribute to the day-to-day operational success
  • 10% Analyzes data and trends, compiles progress reports, and provides appropriate recommendations or conclusions in support of the assigned operational work unit(s)
  • 10% Assists, recommends, and advises staff on unit or program administrative issues, personnel matters, and budgetary problems
  • 10% Serves on committees and attends meetings, representing the interests of the unit or program
  • 15% Lead planning and ensure a high standard of execution for all events sponsored by the Office of the Vice Provost for Enrollment Management.

Required:
- Demonstrated knowledge of event planning and/or event support
- Demonstrated attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances while utilizing a solution-driven approach

- Ability to work collaboratively to effectively navigate competing priorities

This position may require some work to be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location. Some work may be performed remotely, at an offsite, non-campus work location.

Salary:

Minimum $55,000 Maximum $75,000 ANNUAL (12 months)
