Position Title: Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift

Wage: $25.00 - $26.00/hour

Shift: 3rd

Hours: 10:00pm - 6:00am or 12:00am - 8:00am

QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Maintenance Technician at a company in Monroe, WI. This is a direct hire position for 3rd shift. Apply today!

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions in machinery and equipment
- Repair or rebuild various plant and process equipment including pumps, motos, gearboxes, valves and other related equipment
- Repair, rebuild or replace hydraulic and pneumatic equipment and understand flow controls
- Understand and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (Nomenclature, input, output, etc.)
- Repair and replace instrumentation to include level sensors, RTD's, chart recorders and other controls as needed
- Operate forklifts/platforms
- Perform required preventative maintenance on plant and process equipment
- Perform electrical troubleshooting on various plant and process equipment including amp and voltage readings, testing fuses, and understanding electrical prints
- Weld various metals using wire feed, stick, or TIG
- Repair and replace equipment and controls on the cooling water and steam systems including valves, traps, return pumps, chemical feed pumps, etc.
- Conducts boiler water tests and operate boiler as needed

Requirements for Maintenance Technician:
- At least two years of maintenance experience
- Mechanical background
- Working knowledge of pumps, motors and valves
- Dairy background preferred
- Some plumbing experience
- Experience in electrical, welding and HVAC preferred but not required
- Able to lift up to 50lbs
