Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has a temporary, full-time position available for a graphic design intern. Responsibilities include:
- Converting marketing collateral into the Mead & Hunt brand
- Understanding and executing successful page layouts
- Ability to use templates and create templates, as needed
- Conceptualize and design for social graphics, ideally including motion and animation
- Assisting with design files and photo database management
- Providing photo touch-ups
- Assisting with production
- Supporting additional in-house design needs, as requested
The successful candidate will have at least two semesters of college level coursework in graphic design or a related field.
The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following:
- A portfolio of design samples that demonstrate applicable work (can include class assignments)
- Understanding of graphic principles, layout, and design
- Strong conceptual abilities (developing ideas/concepts individually and as part of a team).
- Ability to properly setup files for print based on vendor specifications/needs.
- A positive, collaborative attitude with strong visualization skills and the ability to work well with a variety of personalities
- Strong communication and time management skills with the capability to manage multiple projects with varying timelines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to think critically, ask questions, receive constructive feedback, react objectively and execute tasks productively
- Highly organized with strong time management skills.
- Understanding of branding and corporate marketing/communications
- Video and animation experience a plus
