Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has a full-time position available for a highly motivated Senior CAD/BIM Designer. Responsibilities:

• Coordinating design closely with discipline leads and engineering in team environment.
• Ensuring customer specification/requirements, product standards, BIM execution plan.
• Limited travel may be required.
• Lead Reviewing and Generating: 2D-3D Models, Drawings, Details, Schedules, Packages.
• Lead Coordinating & Clash Resolution.
• Lead Producing project imagery and visualizations for use in documents and presentations.
• Lead Cutsheet Review, Asset Tracking, Design Calculations

Qualifications:

Education:

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
• Autodesk Application or other CAD-Drafting Certification.
• Experience (With Degree): 4 Experience (No Degree): 6

• Strong technical and mechanical aptitude with attention to detail.
• Example critical thinking, problem-solving skills.
• Demonstration of computer-based skills: Microsoft Suite (Windows, Outlook, Excel), and other 3rd party or in-house software.
• Exposure to 2D and 3D CAD utilization.

  • BIM Modeling, BIM Coordination, Digital Twins
• Applications (Alternatives):
  • AutoCAD, Revit, Plant 3D, MicroStation
  • Navisworks (Revisto), Bluebeam (Adobe), Microsoft Excel (Gsheets)
