Position Summary:
Employee Benefits Corporation is hiring for a Participant Enrollment Specialist. The Participant Enrollment Specialist is responsible for the ongoing administration, maintenance and termination of participant accounts. This position is also responsible for managing administrative activities related to the Benefits Card on the participant level. The Participant Enrollment Specialist interacts and collaborates across several areas of the organization on a regular basis.
This person may work in our Middleton, WI office, fully remote (Wisconsin locations only), or a combination of the two depending on availability. Must be available for one day of onsite training and onboarding in person at our Middleton, WI office.
Responsibilities Include:
Manage and maintain updates to participant accounts including enrollment, termination, leave of absence and permitted election changes as well as Benefits Card account maintenance
Update participant accounts from data received through payroll or eligibility files and manage any account variances
Safeguard confidentiality, privacy and security of organization and customer personal information
Obtain and maintain current and ongoing product and regulation related knowledge at a level of proficiency to resolve complex requests and inquiries
Manage, triage and assign enrollment related workflow (to include but not limited to data file feeds, help desk inquiries and CRM tasks) in accordance with departmental expectations and standards
Perform audits on participant updates to ensure accuracy standards are met
Provide customer centric service to internal and external customers on questions and issues related to enrollment and participant accounts, utilizing professional interpersonal skills to include diplomacy, tact and empathy
Qualifications:
Associate degree in Business or related field; may be substituted with two years of relevant work experience
Minimum one year experience in similar role working with external customers in a professional office environment
Previous experience working in and adapting to various software applications
Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills, utilizing proper grammar, syntax and excellent business acumen
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
Access to reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications:
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Previous experience working with pre-tax and/or COBRA plans
