The Global Health Technologies Coalition (GHTC) is a coalition of 45 nonprofit organizations, academic institutions, and aligned businesses advancing policies to accelerate the creation of new drugs, vaccines, diagnostics, and other tools that bring healthy lives within reach for all people.

PATH is currently recruiting for a Senior Program Assistant to support the Executive Director (ED) of the Global Health Technologies Coalition, which is housed at PATH. This position will support the GHTC ED on a variety of activities, including member and partner engagement, actively managing the ED's calendar and inbox, initiating and responding to messages, and supporting tracking and follow-ups as necessary. This position is dynamic so the ideal candidate will have exemplary time management skills and the ability to identify and anticipate needs and actions to be taken. The role must act seamlessly and with a professional demeanor across a broad range of individuals, including the GHTC Steering Committee, the GTHC member organizations and partners across the globe, as well as a variety of critical multilateral partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and liaison for the ED, supporting member and partner engagement by proactively communicating and coordinating actions, responses and resolution of matters with diplomacy; maintain strong attention to detail to ensure appropriate management of matters.

  • Perform desk research to support prospective and existing partnerships, identifying stakeholders, issues, and opportunities for engagement.

  • Assist with the planning and execution of events of varying sizes and for various audiences including partners, funders, and donors.

  • Facilitate the development of executive briefs, ensuring internal stakeholders can provide input.

  • Deliver briefing materials to ED to prepare for external engagements.

  • Coordinate daily activities and projects, action items, and team collaborations, keeping stakeholders appropriately informed and facilitating timely progress and completion.

  • Plan and manage domestic and international travel for the ED and occasionally for other members of the GHTC team by working with PATH's travel agent and internal travel management teams. Complete required documentation prior to travel and submission of travel expenses following trip completion.

  • Provide project management support for various initiatives (e.g., global convenings, regional tripes, etc.).

  • Schedule, organize, set-up, attend, and support regular and ad hoc meetings with the GTHC team and coalition meetings, and other members of the GHTC and/or relevant PATH community.

  • Support meetings, events, and video/teleconferences across multiple time zones, including preparation of meeting materials and optimal use of audio/video communication technologies.

  • Manage and update the GHTC shared file sites and contact management systems and maintain team archives and files in Box.

  • Assist with information gathering, preparation, editing, review and production of various communications materials to ensure quality, including internal/external correspondence, PowerPoint Presentations, proposals, reports and other materials as required.

  • Provide other administrative support as needed.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of experience working in an administrative capacity and engaging with senior leaders; an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

  • Strong desire to excel with commitment to our mission and team, and a sense of urgency.

  • Sharp, energetic, and creative, with ability to "think on your feet."

  • Excellent organizational skills and composure needed to work within a fast-paced work environment, including proven ability to prioritize competing demands effectively and adapteasily and quickly to changing priorities.

  • Strongly demonstrated interpersonal skills and diplomacy, coupled with sound judgment and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

  • Excellent team player who can engage in ways that enable and continuously improve overall team efficiency.

  • Collaborative working style with the ability to independently and proactively initiate and coordinate projects across departments within a large organization.

  • High level of attention to detail and ability to work well under deadlines.

  • High integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.

  • Excellent computer skills using MS Office Suite required, including high-level proficiency in creating and editing documents in Word and PowerPoint, creating and maintaining SharePoint sites, and operating all aspects of Microsoft Teams.

  • Ability to create and maintain tracking and data management systems and version control.

  • Interest in global development/health and advocacy.

  • Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.

We offer our employees a competitive salary and generous benefits. For candidates based in the U.S., the annual salary range for this position is $60,000 - $75,000. The final salary is based on a variety of objective factors.
