Marketing Operations Coordinator Division: Corporate Strategy Department: Marketing Reports to: SVP, Director of Marketing Status: Non-Exempt Grade: 6 Pay Range: $19.00 - $27.00 Actual compensation within the pay range will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. Location: Hybrid within MA Purpose/Objective: Provides Marketing support service including, but not limited to, sponsorship tracking and fulfilment, budget data maintenance, project tracking, content marketing, special event support and database management. Also provides support for SVP, Director of Marketing and the Marketing team to assist with marketing support, potential vendor partners, and other administrative duties as requested. Key Accountabilities: * Assists with day-to-day Marketing operations and process functions by providing a wide variety for support; budget updates, invoicing, and traffic coordinator. Serves as a member of the quality control content review process and other administrative and operational support requests as needed. 25% * Serves as an operational traffic contact for advertising media partners, responsible for tracking project deadlines to ensure they are met and output is accurate. Presents copy for approval, corrects, and revises as needed until approved. Maintains a file of current rate sheets and audit media placement to scheduled plan. 25% * Assists with all marketing project requests works with the Marketing team to review, assign, coordinate the marketing project flow for the Bank, holding company, Foundation, and affiliates. Provides support with all internal and external marketing requests. 15% * Assists to support sponsorship requests, tracking and fulfilment. Maintains sponsorship database and workflow within the Bank's online application portal. Provides monthly reports and tracking. Manages promotional marketing and special events associated with sponsorships. Assists with monthly Marketing budget reporting and expense management. 15% * Updates content calendars and ensuring that the content remains consistent across all platforms. Assists in developing content strategies to effectively reach the desired target audience and marketing goals. 10% * Conducts regularly scheduled Marketing audits to monitor usage of materials, ensure compliance with brand standards, advertising/banking/insurance laws, and keeping employees on track with Company's promotional efforts. Assists with maintaining and updating advertising compliance procedures, policies, and legal requirements on advertising materials. 10% * Ensures compliance with all banking laws, rules, regulations, and prescribed policies/practices/procedures necessary to reduce risk and uphold ethical standards related to and required by one's duties. Education: * Bachelor's degree in communications preferred * Advertising experience required Experience: * 2+ years of prior copywriting experience, including advertising/marketing * Experience in an advertising/communications environment * Experience in financial services or retail merchandising a plus Skills & Knowledge: * Strong writing and editing skills * Effective organizational and workflow skills * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite * Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and meet strict deadlines * Must be able to think conceptually * Attention to detail, accuracy & followthrough a must Berkshire Bank is an Equal Opportunity Employer - all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or national origin.
