Job Description
Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Program Manager with our client in the financial industry located in Houston, TX. This is a 12 + month contract position.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform project management responsibilities relating to IT solution, designs, implementations, upgrades, conversion, and recovery
  • Provide analytical support for IT projects
  • Develop and revise project materials and maintains project documentation
  • Define and evaluate problems and plan effective solutions
  • Recommend improvements in project deliverables
  • Assist in defining the scope and impact of projects and effectively communicate the impact on the organization
  • Establish project tasks, timelines, and budgets and effectively manages them
  • Individual contributor role
  • Own project/program delivery for programs assigned
  • Create business requirement documents, functional requirement documents, JIRA tickets, project plans, resource allocation charts, and other project documents
  • Manage and track progress of project tasks and address ad-hoc data requests from users
  • Work with internal development teams and external business partners to identify scope and define approach as well as execute on key deliveries
  • Manage the day-to-day project deliverables including providing project status updates to senior management
  • Do deep dives into issues to help drive resolution
  • Highlight, escalate, and resolve issues, conflicts, and roadblocks
  • Translate and communicate infrastructure and client business priorities
  • Manage expectations of both infrastructure management and clients

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience (7+ years preferred), with 2 years minimum in a combined BA and PM role in a Financial Institution
  • Knowledge of development and infrastructure process lifecycles
  • Strong interest in or knowledge of infrastructure technology e.g. servers, storage; networks, grid, etc.
  • Very strong presentation skills
  • Strong communication abilities
  • Experience of working with cross-functional and global teams with dynamic business requirements
  • Strong general consulting/project skills (ability to help clients define requirements, write statement of work, marshal resources, project management, scope control, risk management, etc.)
  • Good understanding of all asset classes and basic risk concepts
  • Good understanding of business and data flows
  • Experience with project management and project reporting tools
  • Knowledge of trade life cycle, risk management, and front to back-office flows
  • Experience delivering solutions for regulatory projects
  • Competency with business knowledge, innovation, creativity
  • Documented results of building client relationships, analytical ability, execution, change leadership
  • Knowledge of client processes, procedures, and prices for basic Quartz components such as servers, storage, network, and component layout

Pay Range: $48.37 - $56.37
