Job Description
The office of P-20/SIP at UCR works to enhance the educational accomplishments and success of underrepresented students in the Inland Empire. Both P-20 and Student-Initiated Programs (SIP) are Student Academic Preparation and Educational Programs (SAPEP) funded by the UC Office of the President. P-20 offers free college readiness advisement and topic-specific workshops to high school and middle school students, and families through collaborations with local school districts and agencies. Simultaneously, Student-Initiated Programs (SIP) facilitates college access for K-12 and community college students labeled "at risk," meaning that they might not otherwise enroll at four-year post-secondary institutions, through grant opportunities for UCR student organizations that organize outreach activities/events. The P-20/SIP Coordinator will help students and graduates with college applications, financial aid, and other crucial aspects of college preparation to ensure their access and success in higher education. Additionally, P-20/SIP Coordinator will process and review grant applications and provide support to student organizations looking to plan and execute outreach activities/events.

The full salary range for P-20/SIP Coordinator is $23.85 - $40.33 an hour. However, the expected pay scale for this position is $23.85 - $25.86 per hour. We base placement within these ranges on the individual's qualifications as they relate to this position.

Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.

As a university employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements.
