Work Schedule:

This is a full time, 1.0 FTE position. Shifts will be scheduled Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Manager, Genetic Counseling Services - Pediatrics to:

  • Lead overall planning and daily supervision of all operational aspects and activities for Genetic Counseling services.
  • Address administrative and management issues to optimize efficiency and team morale.
  • Partner with clinic management and medical leadership at the historic UW Waisman Center.

Education:

Minimum - Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration or Business Administration

Preferred - Master's degree in Genetic Counseling

Work Experience:

Minimum - Six (6) years relevant health care experience

Preferred - Six (6) years relevant health care experience in an academic medical center

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum - Licensed as a Genetic Counselor in the state of Wisconsin.

Preferred -National certification in genetic counseling through ABGC.
