Yard Truck Shuttle Driver

Job Description
SUMMARY:
We are looking for an associate who shuttle between two plants driving the yard truck. This associated will also help with packing production. Requirements include lifting and packing bottles of liquid detergent on an assembly line.
If driver has a CDL- B license, hourly wage will be hire. At times driver will be asked to drive the company box truck. Those trips are out and back the same day. Trips are a few times a month. The balance of the time associate will assist the liquid bottle filling department. Moving the yard truck between buildings is also part of the day.
When no truck deliveries are scheduled, liquid bottle filling production and fork lift operation will fill the remaining 40 hour work week. Operator must be a calm, focused and mature individual. Candidate must be able to learn quickly and pay attention to detail and productivity. Basic math skill is required. Mechanical understanding is helpful. Ability to drive a forklift and yard truck is required. Primary responsibility is to assist in the liquid bottle filling line.
DUTIES:
Be part of a small, select team. Candidate must be willing to climb a steps in an industrial area. Work with the team on the production line. Must be willing to use their hands to lift bottles, cases and drums weighing 5-50 lbs. Be alert at all times to insure the quality of the production run. Candidate must be willing to stand for long periods of time
