Your seat at the table: Cookware Operator - Grade 11

In this seat you'll assemble, test (including thermoplugs), rivets, wraps, and packs a variety of cookware, sets up work centers, sets up and operates spot welders, flange finishing, laser trademark machines, bottom brusher. Operates punch presses, flattening presses, grit blasters, shrink wrap, small drill press, blank sanding machine.

This seat reports to: Production Supervisor

More specifics about what this seat does:

• Makes ready, installs, positions, adjusts, aligns, and removes all tooling, and other parts and fittings required to operate machines such as listed above.
• Makes final and in-process adjustments to assure quality requirements are met.
• Loads and/or unloads parts to be cleaned and inspects for defects.
• Operates machines listed above as well as small air or electric driven hand tools used for assembly.
• Also includes wrapping, bagging, forming, and packing of products into cartons and accessories, and loading cartons on pallets.
• Maintains equipment and tooling and takes appropriate corrective action if required.
• Checks products for flaws, scratches, proper finish, and other defects.
• Moves material to and from the work area.
• Keeps a clean and safe work area.
