Join Ecolab's sales team as a Street Sales Development Manager in the Oklahoma City, OK market. Within our industry leading Institutional division, this outside sales opportunity offers comprehensive products and solutions to meet the needs of customers across the foodservice, long term care, and hospitality industries. You will be responsible for driving growth by developing strategic sales plans and prospecting and closing new business. You will serve as the face of Ecolab, providing recommendations on advanced cleaning and sanitation programs and solutions that drive a positive guest experience and create cleaner, safer, and healthier environments.

What You Will Do:

  • Focus on profitable unit & anchor program competitive gain, where there a Key Account Representative is not assigned

  • Build Ecolab's brand by cold-calling and prospecting new street and non-contract business to generate sales within a specific geographic area

  • Meet or exceed sales budget on a consistent basis

  • Apply consultative selling techniques by evaluating standard operating procedures and identifying operational efficiencies

  • Cultivate customer and industry relationships to build sales pipeline

  • Leverage market knowledge to identify competitive sales opportunities to gain new business and facilitate cross-divisional sales opportunities

  • Support distributor brand sales opportunitiesin some cases

Position Details:

  • Candidate must reside within a commutable distance from Oklahoma City, OK

  • Territory includes cities within a 1.5 hour radius of Oklahoma City, OK

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Secondary diploma or equivalent certificate

  • 2 years of sales experience OR completion of the Institutional inside sales development program

  • Position requires a current and valid driver's license

  • No Immigration Sponsorship available

Physical Demands:

  • Drive a company vehicle as required to perform job duties (pre-employment and ongoing motor vehicle record checks will be performed to determine eligibility to drive a company vehicle)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Previous business to business commercial sales

  • Industry related experience in food service, laundry, housekeeping, hospitality and/or pool and spa

  • Proven negotiation, relationship management, communication, and presentation skills

  • Sales specific education or certifications
