CLA is currently seeking a Senior Associate to join our Federal Tax Strategies practice.

How you'll create opportunities in this Senior Associate role:

  • Assist Federal Tax Strategy (FTS) leaders with the delivery of engagements including research and development (R&D) tax credit studies, cost segregation studies and tax depreciation analysis.
  • Prepare research and development (R&D) tax credit studies including client consultations, analysis, data gathering and report development.
  • Develop a deep understanding of various industries including manufacturing, real estate, construction, healthcare and technology.
  • Mentor associates and other team members on their inspired career.
  • Utilize entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally and externally with clients and the community.

What you will need:

  • You have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Two years of experience in professional accounting, finance, or related field required.
  • Experience in federal tax strategies (R&D tax credits or cost segregation) preferred.
  • CPA eligible is preferred.
