Position: UiPath Solution Architect- Test Automation and RPA

Role Overview:

As a UiPath Solution Architect, you will play a crucial role in defining and shaping our organization's automation landscape, driving operational efficiency, and ensuring unparalleled quality across our diverse enterprise platforms. With a more than 8 years of experience in Robotic Process Automation and a solid foundation in Test Automation, your expertise in UiPath will be central to automating critical business processes and optimizing test cycles for maximum efficiency and effectiveness.

In this pivotal position, you will not only design and implement cutting-edge RPA solutions but also collaborate closely with business analysts, developers, and key stakeholders to develop robust, scalable automation solutions that meet and exceed our business requirements. Your role involves acting as the UiPath Subject Matter Expert (SME), where you'll be instrumental in educating the team on the nuances of the UiPath Test Suite, defining best practices, and providing valuable insights on project structuring, the use of labels, and the development of frameworks or modular components.

The ideal candidate is expected to have hands-on experience with setting up the UiPath Test Suite from scratch, demonstrating the capability to create automated test cases in UiPath StudioPro, publish them to UiPath Orchestrator, and manage automation testing assets using UiPath Test Manager. Daily responsibilities include the development and management of automated test cases, ensuring the seamless integration of RPA solutions into business processes, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Additionally, you will oversee the infrastructure setup and maintenance for UiPath, including cloud and on-premise solutions, ensuring a robust, scalable environment for RPA bots.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Test Automation/Test Suite Initiatives:
  • Develop and refine the organization's test automation strategies, using UiPath Test Suite to create a comprehensive framework that encompasses UI Automation Testing, API Testing, Data-Driven Testing, Cross-Browser Testing, end-to-end testing, Regression Testing and more.
  • Implement and manage the UiPath Test Manager for efficient test case management, asset management, and integration with other test management/ALM tools.
  • Design and execute automated test cases in UiPath StudioPro, ensuring seamless publication to UiPath Orchestrator for robust deployment and execution of automated tests.
  • Lead efforts in Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes, integrating automated tests to ensure high-quality deployments.
  • Facilitate the adoption of best practices for test automation, including modular testing frameworks, code reuse, and maintainability across the automation lifecycle.
  • Spearhead the automation of tests for Enterprise Platforms such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and ERPs (SAP and Oracle) and e-commerce platform & websites ensuring critical business processes function correctly.
• Lead RPA Solution Design and Development:
  • Lead the development of UiPath RPA solutions, aligning with business goals to automate complex processes, enhance decision-making, and improve operational agility.
  • Utilize Process Mining to identify and optimize automation opportunities, maximizing ROI through data-driven insights.
  • Implement Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) for efficient data management from unstructured sources, enhancing accuracy and reducing manual effort.
  • Integrate AI and machine learning to advance decision-making capabilities within RPA workflows, responding proactively to trends and customer needs.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive Test Automation frameworks, ensuring RPA bot reliability across systems with a focus on UI, API, and Data-Driven Testing.
  • Design solutions with a strong emphasis on compliance, auditability, operational agility, cost efficiency, and scalability, adhering to regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Leverage UiPath analytics and reporting to provide insights into RPA performance, driving continuous improvement and strategic decisions.
• Process Improvement and Management:
  • Conduct thorough Code Reviews and Quality Checks to ensure high standards.
  • Sign off on Pre-UAT Testing Results and participate actively in User Acceptance Testing.
  • Work closely with Scrum Masters to refine the Sprint Backlog, participating in sprint backlog grooming with Business Analysts, Scrum Masters, and Project Managers.
  • Participate in Process Re-Engineering and Change Management exercises to optimize and improve processes.
• Compliance, Auditability, and Documentation:
  • Ensure solutions are designed for compliance and auditability.
  • Document Process Definition Documents and contribute to the maintenance of all relevant documentation.
  • Be responsible for the run support handoff for hypercare, ensuring solutions are scalable, cost-efficient, and operationally agile.
• UiPath Infrastructure Management: Oversee the setup and maintenance of UiPath infrastructure, including cloud and on-premise solutions. Ensure the seamless deployment of containers for Robots, optimizing performance and scalability.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Extensive RPA and Test Automation Experience: A solid foundation with more than 8 years in RPA and Test Automation, showcasing a proven track record of successful UiPath solution implementations. This experience is crucial for developing and deploying automation strategies that significantly enhance operational efficiencies and business outcomes.
• Business Process Optimization Expertise: Deep expertise in Business Process Automation, Process Mining, Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), and AI Integration. This includes a strong ability to leverage advanced decision-making capabilities to streamline and enhance business processes, contributing to significant improvements in productivity and efficiency.
• Advanced Test Automation Skills: A strong background in Test Automation is essential, with extensive experience across various testing methodologies and frameworks. This should include a comprehensive understanding of testing practices that ensure the reliability and performance of automated systems.
• Enterprise Platform Automation Experience: Proven experience with Enterprise Platforms such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, and Oracle, and their automation. This indicates a deep understanding of the complexities and nuances of automating business processes within these robust systems.
• Technical Documentation Proficiency: Proficiency in documenting technical specifications and process documents, demonstrating an ability to clearly articulate complex automation solutions and processes in a manner that is accessible to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Analytical and Project Management Excellence: Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills. This includes the ability to lead projects from conception through to completion, ensuring that solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and that they meet business objectives.
• Communication and Collaboration: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment. This includes the capability to negotiate, influence, and drive decisions across all levels of the organization.
• Education and Certifications: A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is essential. Preferred certifications include:
