Work Schedule:
This is a full-time, 1.0 FTE day shift position. Shifts are scheduled Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:00AM - 5:00PM, no weekends required. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.
Pay:

We are seeking a Program Instructor for our Ophthalmic Assistant Apprenticeship Program to:
At UW Health, you will have:
Education:
Minimum - Completion of an education program for Ophthalmology Assistants.
Preferred - Completion of an accredited Ophthalmic/Optometric program and an Associate degree in science, healthcare, education, or other related field.
Work Experience:
Minimum - Five (5) years of experience as Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA)
Preferred - Ten (10) years of experience and experience as a Certified Ophthalmic Technician COT, prior teaching experience or prior supervisory or coordinator experience.
Licenses and Certifications:
Minimum - Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA)
Preferred - Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT)
