Position Overview

The AssociateSourcing Advisor is a support partner for the Sourcing team and the Category Managers. A sourcing, procurement, contracting, or finance background is required for this role. The scope and focus of work will vary and require working with a diverse team of cross-functional stakeholders. The Associate Sourcing Advisor is expected to observe and participate in the sourcing elements of a project and understand business requirements as well as monitor and guide sourcing events through various stage gates with due diligence partners. Areas of focus include sourcing mechanics/processes, supplier evaluation, negotiation support, supplier due diligence. This role requires a persistent and eager individual to find solutions that meet Exact Sciences' business needs with meticulous organizational skills.

Essential Duties

Include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Communicates with suppliers participating in RFx events.
  • Collaborate with Sourcing and Contract Analysts to draft and revise supplier agreements.
  • Observe and support contract negotiations to optimize cost, quality, and risk outcomes.
  • Participate in the development and execution of request. for proposals (RFP's) with input from cross-functional areas.
  • Monitor and guide Sourcing processes related to due diligence (MNDAs, Privacy reviews, etc.) and related systems.
  • Remain closely involved with Source to Contract process, reporting on various workflow statuses.
  • Provide operational support for Category Managers in execution of strategic sourcing functions.
  • Ability to quickly develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Awareness of sourcing standards, due diligence partners and supports education to impacted departments.
  • Participate in several varied projects at one time, with frequently changing priorities.
  • Ability to evaluate backup and alternate suppliers based on business needs.
  • Ability to work independently or as a part of a group, taking direction from SMEs.

  • Ability and means to travel between local Madison Exact Sciences locations.
  • Ability to travel 10% of working time away from work location, may include overnight/weekend travel.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in supply chain, finance, or a field related to essential duties.
  • 1+ years of industry experience in sourcing, supply chain, procurement, information technology, finance, operations, or a field related to the essential duties.
  • Working knowledge in Microsoft Office programs, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience working within Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, such as SAP.

Salary Range:

$58,000.00 - $92,000.00

The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US - WI - Madison on a full-time basis. In addition, this position is bonus eligible, and is eligible to receive company stock upon hire as well as annually.
