Job Description
Objective
Focused on continuous productivity improvement, this role aims to deliver high-quality products by implementing efficient processes, effective training programs, strategic purchases of high-ROI capital equipment, and fostering a culture aligned with the company's core values.

Key Responsibilities


•    Manage day-to-day production operations to ensure efficient utilization of resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment.
•    Oversee production planning and execution, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to enhance quality and productivity in line with customer requirements.
•    Control manufacturing-related costs, ensuring operations run within budgetary constraints.
•    Develop and assess new methods and procedures to optimize manufacturing efficiency, maximize labor utilization, and minimize operating costs.
•    Consolidate safety and quality programs by enforcing all company policies, conducting regular safety training sessions based on needs assessment, and leading plant staff and safety meetings.
•    Monitor and enhance process conformance and effectiveness, cultivating a culture focused on continuous quality improvement.
•    Lead the selection and training of assigned staff, set performance expectations, and provide regular coaching and feedback.
•    Ensure fair and consistent application of policies and procedures across the department.
•    Analyze and improve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) relevant to all departmental functions.
•    Oversee preventative maintenance planning for operational equipment and facilities, driving continuous improvements.
•    Uphold 5S standards throughout the plant.
•    Promote the Safety Program to maintain our zero-incident work environment.
•    Facilitate clear and efficient communication within plant personnel

Requirements
•    Previous management experience in a fast-paced, low-volume, high-variability manufacturing setting, preferably at a manager or director level.
•    Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or related field is preferred; or equivalent experience.
•    Minimum of five years' experience in a Production Management role within a manufacturing environment.
•    Experience in Electrical assembly of control panels, mechanical assembly of automated equipment, CNC machining, brazing, metal fabrication and production planning is a plus.
•    Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook) and ERP software.
•    Strong leadership skills with a focus on employee development.
•    Effective interpersonal and written communication skills
.
Additional Information
•    Electrical/Mechanical manufacturing experience is a plus.
