Job Description

Work Schedule:

100% FTE, The scheduled shifts will be varying 8 and 12-hour shifts with required on-call and weekend shifts. Hours may vary based on the needs of the department.

As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll play an integral role in our inpatient and ambulatory care teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients.

We are seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife to:

  • Demonstrate knowledge of etiologies, risk factors, pathophysiology, presentation and epidemiology of medical conditions.
  • Provide care that is patient and family centered, compassionate, appropriate and effective.
  • Demonstrate insight into own strengths, limitations and knowledge deficits.
  • Follow ethical principles regarding patient confidentiality, informed consent and unanticipated adverse outcomes.
  • Consider cost effectiveness and risk/benefit analysis when making decisions about patient care.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with physicians, other health professionals and health related agencies.

Education:

Minimum - Master's degree in Nurse Midwifery

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum -

  • Minimum Active RN and APNP license in State of Wisconsin
  • Active Nurse Midwife license in State of Wisconsin
  • Active national board certification in nurse midwifery
