What You Will Do:

Astronautics is seeking an experienced Repair Manager and Repair Station Accountable Manager to lead its overall Repair strategy. This position is an integral part of Astronautics' core operations team and will be directly influencing repair policies and procedures to ensure budget, schedules, and regulatory compliances are maintained.

This on-site position is located at our Headquarters in Oak Creek, WI. You will report directly to the Director of Operations.

How You Will Do It:

  • Provide overall leadership and development of the repair organization.
  • Serve as the primary contact with the FAA for the 14 CFR Part 145 repair station.
  • Provide guidance to FAA Repairmen and oversight of the 14 CFR Part 145 repair station.
  • Serve as the delegate for the EASA Accountable Manager, including the duties and associated responsibilities.
  • Ability to guide and mentor a team of 20+ personnel.
  • Execute goals and objectives that are consistent with company strategy and objectives.
  • Prepare required records and/or reports, including yearly budgets.


What We Look For:

Required

  • Associate's degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Must be familiar with knowledge in avionic repair, associated test equipment, terminology, and government regulations.
  • Experience with a 14 CFR Part 145 repair station is required.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with Preventative Maintenance Systems, Root Cause Analysis, budgeting, and project management.
  • Knowledge and use of an Oracle based ERP system and excellent PC skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks, schedules, projects and work assignments.

Desired

  • Bachelor's degree in manufacturing operations, mechanical/electrical engineering, electronics engineering, or business
    from an accredited institution.
  • Prior FAA Repairman experience.
  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant license is a plus.
