Job Title: Program Specialist -Provider Support

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4pm

Location: On-site, Children's Wisconsin Milwaukee

What you will do:

Train providers (physicians, residents, fellows etc) to use CW's electronic health record application (Epic). Support and act as a key contact and resource for providers related to hospital-related operations, issues, and questions.
What you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in health related field and a comprehensive knowledge of hospital and health care systems preferred.

  • Minimum of one year of health care system experience required. Experience working with physician staff preferred.

  • Epic experience preferred.

  • In lieu of healthcare experience, will consider Bachelor's Degree and 3 years teaching experience, preferably with adult learners.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate on a team, verbal & written communication skills, comfort and ability to lead group training, and customer-orientated in order to interact effectively with providers, leaders and other health system staff.

  • Must possess working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point for data entry purposes, communication and data presentation.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.

  • Strong critical thinking skills & analytical ability to proactively address problems and facilitate improvement-related projects.
