Position Summary:
The Department of Criminal Justice & Social Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville invites applications for a Lecturer in Political Science who specializes in American politics. Candidates must be able to teach Introduction to American Government and Constitutional Law as well as some of our other such as Introduction to Public Policy, American Political Parties and Interest Groups, State and Local Government, Civil Liberties, and Women, Gender, and Politics.
This is a full-time position with an anticipated start date of August 2024. Salary range of $38,000 - $41,000 commensurate with qualifications and experience.

The Department in the College of Liberal Arts and Education has 8 full-time tenure-track positions and regularly employs an additional 8-12 instructional academic staff. The undergraduate program offers a BA/BS in Criminal Justice, BS in Forensic Investigation, and a BA/BS in Political Science. We department also oversees multiple minors and certificates, including the Law Certificate and the Pre-Law program. The graduate program offers an MS in Criminal Justice.
