Summary of Position: Lead the flexline area. Also responsible for helping in other related areas as needed.

Essential Duties:

• Assign duties to employees within the flexline area.
• Organize the paperwork for the day.
• Ensure that material is being racked correctly.
• Knowledge of paint and application equipment.
• Pull paints for the flexline area.
• Check paint viscosity prior to application.
• Ability to troubleshoot and think creatively when solving problems.
• Communicate to other departments if material needed is not available.
• Train new associates to the area.
• Apply Lean principles in own work performance and drive Lean applications in company operations
• Keep the work area clean.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Required Skills:

• This job requires that the associate may generate, handle, or prepare for shipment, hazardous waste generated at the Linetec facility. The associate is required to attend annual RCRA (Resource Conservation and Recovery) Training ongoing from time of hire while in this position. Upon hire, the associate will receive training on how to address issues as they relate to the generation, handling, or preparation for shipment, of hazardous waste until the time they can attend the annual RCRA training.
