Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

KLA has an exciting opportunity for a Senior University Recruiting Manager to lead the US based UR team and partner with global recruiting teams to develop and drive university recruiting strategies and process optimization, attracting top talent from universities around the world!

This role reports directly to the Senior Director of Global Talent Acquisition and is integral in driving the evolution of our university recruiting, sourcing strategies, and recruiting processes to achieve organization wide talent priorities and candidate pipelines.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the university recruiting landscape, experience working with organizations to create programs, and a passion for building diverse and inclusive teams!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a global university recruiting strategy to attract top talent from universities around the world.
  • Research and recommend a global UR operating model, program optimization and standard processes to support KLA's growth.
  • Leverage data analytics and recruiting metrics to track progress, drive operational improvements and amplify operational excellence to support team's continued growth.
  • Lead the full UR recruiting lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing candidates with the US based UR team.
  • Lead the onboarding and initial assimilation of full-time NCGs and Interns to KLA.
  • Evaluate current US university recruitment strategy and refine ongoing as needed.
  • Evaluate and detail UR issues and challenges on a global scale.
  • Guide hiring managers on UR recruiting practices, processes and understand hiring needs to help create recruiting plans.
  • Mentor and coach the UR recruiting team on building hiring plans and strategies to attract and develop diverse pipelines of candidates and hire exceptional talent to KLA.
  • Mentor the team to create outstanding experiences for our candidates, hiring managers, and cross-functional partners.
  • Build and maintain internal and external relationships including relations with universities and student organizations to promote KLA's brand and opportunities.
  • Plan and complete US based on-campus events, information sessions, and other recruiting activities.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and the best ways to recruit university students.
  • Be educated and knowledgeable in recruiting trends of the future workplace to ensure we are keeping pace with technology and evolving our tools and processes.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Bachelors and 12+ years of experience, or Master's and 8+ years of experience or, Ph. D and 5+ years of experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in university recruiting.
  • 5+ years leading a team.
  • Experience driving enterprise-wide strategies within a recruiting organization.
  • Solid understanding of the university recruiting landscape.
  • Experience building and maintaining relationships with universities and student organizations.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and people skills are required.
  • Demonstrated record of compassionate management and strong mentoring skills.
  • Strong organizational, time management and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team and collaborate with global partners in varying time zones.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
