REPORTS TO: Production Manager

JOB SUMMARY: Performs various functions to assist assemblers and/or machine operators to ensure they have the required components to complete production of finished goods.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Ensures boxes are assembled and labeled with proper identification according to the shop order in process.
2. Verifies components are available for assemblers and/or machine operators.
3. Moves finished goods to the finished goods area when the pallet is completed according to the shop order.
4. Processes Shipping Paperwork, Sets up Machines, and Unloads trucks with a pallet jack.
5. Ensures assemblers/machine operators have the correct raw materials to complete their task.
6. Performs all other duties as directed.

Qualifications- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
* Basic math skills are essential.
* Basic computer skills are essential.
* Must be able to read and write.
* Can effectively move raw materials, and finished goods to the proper areas.
* Ability to determine when raw materials are the correct items for any given shop order.
* Ensuring all RTS (Return to Stock) and nonconforming items are put in their proper location with the proper paperwork.

Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
* Sitting and standing for long periods of time
* Bending, stooping, turning, twisting, kneeling, and pushing and pulling.
* Lifting up to 50 lbs.
* Must be able to move pallets of finished goods when necessary.

* Light to moderate noise levels
* Moderate to high light levels
