Job Description

We provide services toparents needing education and guidance to improve their parenting skills so their children can remain with them. We also provide services to children who are placed with foster families until they can return home or become part of an adoptive family.

Develops and carries out operations for Prevent Child Abuse Wisconsin. Coordinates assigned activities to promote program to various audiences.

This position is part time, 20 hrs/week.

Education
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent knowledge) in Human Services, Social Services, Public Health, Education or related field.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

Exhibits guiding behaviors that reflect Children's values and support our mission and vision.

Excellent written and oral communication skills and interpersonal relations skills.

Ability to take on the initiative tasks and work independently, as well as to work as part of a team.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and ability /willingness to learn other computer programs as needed.

Ability to travel within the state of Wisconsin and occasionally out of state for conferences.

Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends.

Experience
Experience working with families of diverse ethnic, cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds strongly preferred.
