Maintain vehicle/equipment condition by testing vehicles and following operating instructions.
Perform routine and preventive maintenance such as engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotation and changes, wheel balancing, replacing filters.
Repair or replace broken components of equipment, including repairing engine failures, and repairing mechanical and electrical system malfunctions.
Reassemble equipment after completion of testing, inspection, or repairs.
Maintain records and document services and repairs.
Maintain supplies and call for necessary repairs.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School Diploma/Equivalent required
Diesel Tech education or Associates Degree preferred
Valid Drivers License required
Must be willing to travel
Must be able to bend/kneel/stand/walk for long periods of time
Must be able to lift/push/pull 45+ pounds regularly
ASE Certification preferred
Work experience with DOT inspections, hydraulics, drive train, controls, and electrical diagnostics preferred
Class A CDL preferred
