How you will contribute:

The facilities manager oversees the maintenance, repair and general management of Ahern's facilities and grounds. They are also responsible for ensuring that office spaces are well-maintained, safe, and conducive to a productive work environment. The facilities manager will manage various aspects of facility operations, including facility maintenance, office moves, furniture procurement, and utility management. This role will develop and implement a cohesive maintenance and repair program for all facilities and grounds, regularly inspect and assess the condition of buildings, equipment and outdoor areas, identifying and resolving any issues promptly, and will manage the scheduling for repairs, maintenance, renovation and the construction of facilities.

What you need to qualify:

Ideal candidates will have an Associates Degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration or a related field (or equivalent work experience), along with proven experience in facilities management or related roles, preferably in a corporate setting. Candidates also need to possess strong project management skills with a track record of successfully completing complex projects, and an in-depth knowledge of building maintenance, repair and safety regulations. This position will require travel to various Ahern office locations as well as the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
