Job Description
This critical role will serve as the strategic Global Total Rewards Leader for Dematic, leading the strategy, design and execution of our compensation and rewards offerings. Included in this scope are: Broad Based Compensation programs, Executive Compensation, Specialized Variable Compensation (such as Sales and Project based incentive programs), Organization Capability Building (regarding the administration of total rewards), Compensation Programs, and building necessary linkages to overarching Total Rewards, Benefits, and Recognition programs globally.

This leader will work in close partnership with the Total Rewards COE within The KION Group, along with Total Rewards and HR Systems and Mobility leaders in other units across the Group, to align on executive compensation, systems implementations, Board Proposals and overall Total Rewards philosophy and management.

This role will provide the opportunity to influence organization strategy through partnering with HR Leadership and the Dematic Executive Leadership Team to

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $125,000 - $225,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

This is What You Will do in This Role:
  • Develop, align, and implement a progressive Total Rewards philosophy that guides the composition and administration of Total Rewards programs and processes globally
  • Lead a talented team of Compensation and Total Rewards professionals to drive the strategic development, design, implementation, communication, maintenance, and compliance of all compensation programs to align with the company's Total Rewards philosophy and business objectives
  • Identify, develops and deliver strategic Total Rewards programs and short-term incentive programs that meet and anticipate the internal needs of the organization while monitoring external trends in the marketplace
  • Educate leaders, managers, and employees on the company's Total Rewards philosophy and administration practices.
  • Communicate all compensation and benefits programs, including the development/maintenance of base salary ranges and other compensation practices for the company's various regions
  • Plans, develops and/or participates in area and industry compensation surveys or special compensation studies, including market-based pricing, to ensure the company's competitive position within the marketplace. Review and analyze findings, assess unique company needs and develop specific recommendations to management with respect to the compensation structure
  • Work with KION Total Rewards team as they prepare materials for meetings of the Compensation Committee of the Board throughout the year
  • Responsible for executive compensation administration, including executive benchmarking, salary increases, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, key metric tracking, stockholder ownership guidelines, executive severance, and other executive policies
  • Consult with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition team and Hiring Managers to create competitive offer packages
  • Perform compensation-related merger/acquisition/divestiture work as necessary - due diligence, retention, integration, etc.
  • Lead compensation-related projects and initiatives involving multiple stakeholders with significant strategic and financial impact
  • Enable the business by developing a strategic talent plan and helping to guide critical talent decisions including workforce planning, succession planning, talent development and performance management to support Dematic's growth plans
  • Utilize metrics and data to enable business leaders by identifying trends and recommend solutions to improve performance, retention, and employee engagement
  • Keep a pulse on industry trends, best practices and market movement to ensure Dematic's offerings and practices are progressive and forward-looking

What We are Looking For:
  • 15+ years of progressive Total Rewards leadership experience spanning Broad-based Compensation, Executive Compensation, Benefits, and other Total Rewards offerings in global environment
  • Passion for leading high-performing teams and driving a positive culture
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills to effectively partner with leaders across a diverse global matrix
  • Demonstrated understanding and application of Total Rewards, Compensation, Benefits and Change Management, along with the systems and financials that enable the execution of those bodies of work. Strong understanding of systems and compliance
  • Continuous improvement and governance mindset to ensure ongoing compliance and internal controls regarding all facets of Total Rewards programs and their administration
  • Exceptional customer focus and ability to deliver results
  • Excellent influencing skills at all levels in the organization and competence in making timely, effective, principles-based decisions
  • Demonstrated experience in driving initiatives, while holding teams accountable
