Job Description

What You Will Do:

We are seeking a Microsoft O365 Administrator. You will perform automation, analysis, design, implementation, and security administration duties in this position. Your work will be performed in a team environment where you will script, test, implement, and support critical systems supporting corporate initiatives. This role is vital to ensuring that systems using automated scripts are adequately planned, secured, and supported with expertise and skills at a high level.

This hybrid on-site position is located at our Headquarters in Oak Creek, WI. You will report directly to the Senior Manager of Cybersecurity and I.T. Infrastructure.

How You Will Do It:

  • Administer O365 and implement products in the O365 E5 suite. This includes but is not limited to SharePoint, Exchange Online, OneDrive, Teams, and Entra security tools.
  • Design, write, test, and maintain custom scripts to configure the O365 environment.
  • Act as subject matter expert on O365 applications and security to the Cloud Architecture Review Board.
  • Drive security and compliance through best practice use of O365 and Entra tools.
  • Implements security best practice, least privilege, and security first methodologies when designing and implementing O365 technologies, meeting industry and government regulations.
  • Develop and maintain related procedures, processes, and documentation as needed. Minimize config drift in solution configurations.
  • Plan and migrate on-prem SharePoint environment (partially) to SharePoint Online.
  • Maintain/sustain SharePoint sites, sub-sites, lists, libraries, and content (including pages, workflows, and items).
  • Implement SharePoint Online sites and security to meet the teams, departments, and IT requirements.
  • Partner and collaborate with business stakeholders to design automation workflow, implement, and support solutions using Power Apps, Power Platform, SharePoint, and other O365 capabilities.
  • Perform, document, and support Teams and OneDrive administration; responsible for all configuration and support of Teams and OneDrive functionality to support the end-user community.
  • Respond to audit requests of O365 environments by vendors, partners, and agencies.
  • Investigate, develop, and implement solutions for issues and requirements.
  • Develop and maintain recovery procedures for each O365 service/configuration and ensure that the backup and recovery meet requirements.
  • Help determine user requirements and implement solutions that meet user needs while maintaining compliance with security restrictions.
  • Maintain all related installation and configuration parameters.
  • Recommend and research technology solutions that could improve O365 management, administration, compliance, and automation.
  • Communicate directly with company personnel, IT, and outsourced vendors to provide guidance regarding installation, troubleshooting, and configuration.
  • Coordinate posting of instructional documentation for technical and non-technical groups.
  • Keep informed of the latest advancements in IT to ensure the smooth transition of information technology and business requirements.
  • Implement and maintain PIM capability and right management within O365 to minimize security risk and exposure.
  • Follow change and configuration management best practices and procedures.
  • Execute e-discovery against O365 resources as needed.
  • Be willing to learn and implement additional capabilities with engineering and security teams, such as data labeling and DLP technologies within O365.

What We Look For:

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, management information systems, or another related field from an accredited university. Five years of experience will be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum 5 years of Microsoft 365 integration, systems analysis, or programming experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of Exchange and/or SharePoint server support.
  • Microsoft 365 product and administration certifications are preferred.
  • Experience in Office365 administration.
  • Experience scripting utilizing PowerShell.
  • Experience with O365 configuration and management with a preferred expert-level understanding of SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, Teams, and other Office and M365 service components.
  • Experience supporting O365/M365 implementations, with a preference for experience in government, aviation, or defense industries.
  • Experience leveraging O365 and Entra security tools for compliance and e-discovery.
  • Expert knowledge of PowerShell scripting.
  • Knowledge of single sign-on and multi-factor authentication as it pertains to O365 integration, ADFS and Duo/Microsoft Authenticator.

Desired

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Server System Administration, including Office365 and Active Directory.
  • Skilled in developing technical documentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within groups and manage multiple activities and/or tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of (ITSM/ITIL) IT operations, responsibilities, workflow processes, and procedures.
  • Ability to apply local, state, and federal laws and regulations relevant to program areas and information technology and of the principles and practices of public administration and management.
    Skill in gathering information, resource organization, project/task prioritization, and schedule development.
  • Working understanding of NIST 800.171 and/or CMMC industry compliance.
