Work Schedule:

100% FTE. Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM. This position is hybrid for Wisconsin and Illinois residents; individuals will be required to work in office a couple times/month at 1401 E State St, Rockford, IL. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Senior Contract Manager:

  • Manage the sourcing and contracting initiatives for the Northern Illinois campus working directly with the UW Health Procurement team.
  • Negotiate professional services contracts/purchases of goods and services for the system.
  • Provide direction and recommendation to Northern Illinois staff and leaders and also ensure a systematic approach is applied for all procurement efforts.
  • Ability to take high visibility request for proposals (RFP's) through analytics, presentations, and completion.

Education:

Minimum - Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain or related field. Four (4) years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree in addition to the experience below.

Preferred - Master's Degree

Work Experience:

Minimum -

* Five (5) years of progressive experience in contract management of product and/or services portfolio, market analysis, contract analysis, contract negotiation and financial analysis.

* Two (2) years of experience with sophisticated materials management information systems software and/or enterprise resource platform (ERP), preferably Oracle Cloud

* Two (2) years of experience and a proven track record in strategic contract management and expense reduction.

Preferred - Procurement experience in healthcare environment
