Job Description Wisconsin Metal Tech, Inc. located in Richfield, WI is is a privately-owned, family-oriented custom machining company that develops and manufactures high precision, critical-to-function components. Job requirements:
Help machine operators with setups, assist taking blades out/in.
Change out rollers, chutes, or conveyors as needed for specific jobs.
Drive forklift moving jobs to and from the grinding machines.
In free time, take initiative to perform general cleanup. Take out garbage, clean machine, mop around machines, run the floor scrubber. Keep rust inhibitor sprayers filled.
Maintains safe operations and clean work environment.
Maintains continuity among work shifts by communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
Skills and Experience:
1+ years’ experience in manufacturing/production environment
Ability to read & understand blueprints and technical documents a plus
Mechanically inclined - Interest and aptitude working with and troubleshooting engines or machines and understanding how they operate
Ability to learn new techniques and be cross-trained in other roles
High school diploma or GED
Fork-lift certification a plus
