Gundersen Health System is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our established bariatric division of general surgery in Onalaska, WI. Gundersen is an award winning, physician-led, integrated health system

The Division of Bariatric Surgery and Obesity Medicine is recruiting for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with one to three years Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or related sub-specialty, Obesity Medicine or Bariatric Surgery experience in provider or nursing capacity to join 3 bariatric surgeons, 1 Board Certified Obesity Medicine Physician, and 2 PA-Cs on staff for bariatric surgery care. The ideal candidate is a self-actualized person who thrives in a dynamic highly collaborative environment. The person will work with a multi-disciplinary team of bariatric surgery and obesity medicine staff, psychologists, therapists, dietitians, nurses, and exercise staff. This is a clinic-only position (no Hospital, OR), with no weekends/holidays.

The Department of General Surgery at Gundersen has 12 surgeons, including three Bariatric surgeons, and a Minimally Invasive Fellowship. We have a fully accredited five-year residency program with 3 categorical residents in training each year.
